The National Geographic series Dogtown follows uniquely qualified trainers, vets, and caregivers at Best Friends Animal Society’s sanctuary in Utah, for four seasons on National Geographic, as they attempt to rescue and rehabilitate dogs who would otherwise be killed for serious medical or behavioral problems.

 

DOGTOWN: Saving the Michael Vick Dogs

The two-hour special season premiere “DOGTOWN: Saving the Michael Vick Dogs,” chronicles four dogs during their initial rescue from Michael Vick and their first months of rehabilitation at Best Friends Animal Society. Highest rated second season premiere in network history, NGC’s top Friday night premiere ever, reaching 4.3 million viewers.
